  • Supports two menu operation methods: Using touch sensor or buttons.
    If using touch sensor to operate the menu, there is no need to solder anything.
    If using buttons to operate the menu, you need to solder 3 wires.
  • This kit features a 32 colors logo customization option.

Documentation

Activate the OSD Menu:

  • Hold Select and press A + B simultaneously to access the OSD menu.
  • Press A and B to scroll through the menu (Up = A, Down = B).
  • Hold Select and press A to enter a function.
  • Press A or B to set desired level (Right = A, Left = B).
  • Hold Select and press A to save changes.
  • Hold Select and press B to exit.

Notes

  • OSD will not function without a game being inserted into the console. 

Warning

  • We strongly recommend testing the display before installing it in your console. Please follow our Display Testing Guide to confirm the kit is working before the adhesive is secured, the display protection sheet removed, or any non-critical soldering to the ribbon or driver PCB. We are unable to accept returns or replacements on kits that have been installed in a console. Individual replacement parts may be available in the "Included" section above.
  • The ribbon is very fragile, be sure to handle it carefully to avoid damage.
  • Too much pressure can permanently damage the display, do not force the shell closed around the LCD. Ensure the shell is properly trimmed for the display before attempting to install it.

Didn’t work :(

I was so excited to receive this product because it said no soldering required. However, after install, not only did it not work (yes I tested it before fully installing), I couldn’t reverse things because then my OEM display didn’t work… Super frustrating considering this was a family hand me down that held sentimental value. I watched several videos, and read many forums that recommended changing batteries but still nothing worked. Only giving a 2 because everything was packaged well and I received it on time.

Strong product, light instructions.

Everything worked and worked well. The shipping time was one week from order to delivery and it was delivered in a secure fashion. All parts ordered where accounted for. The kit made a wonderful gift for a family member.

The only hiccup I had was with the instructions, which I eventually found off site in other areas. My only note to the buyer would be to secure an instruction video on YouTube first and then purchase.
