Sound just as good as the oem speaker. Had to adjust to make sure the tabs were on the correct pads, for sound to come through when completely re assembled.

A suitable replacement

My old speaker was just that, old. This new one is a drop in replacement and takes me back to 2002

Love it.

The new speaker and buttons for my GBA made it better than new.

good product

good replacement. but I can go either honestly unless going a transparent look like funny-playing, but still good honestly. works like a charm even with amps

Works well, excellent replacement

Sounds just as good as the old speaker and the lack of wires for the SP's speaker made it super easy to install. Though it might be better if it came with a cover, as the original SP speaker does have a fabric cover in case any debris makes it into the shell; (I still had the cover from my original speaker) but that's more of a nonissue, as the speaker does serve its intended purpose.

Works Perfectly

Can't really say much, it works just as expected, though I can say I'm re-using the tiny box for a Christmas gift.

Perfect replacement

Fits perfectly in the SP and works with no issues. In terms of volume it's either the exact same or slightly louder in my experience.

Does the job

Got this to replace my old crunchy speaker on my old SP. Very easy to drop in and install, and it fits perfectly. As others have stated it is not quite as loud as the OEM speaker, but is very serviceable. Th pins on my speaker were bent out quite a bit and they put pressure on my shell which caused it to bend very slightly, this can be fixed by bending down the contacts of the speaker to fit more flush with the shell.

Easy Peasy

Great piece of machinery, and super easy to install. Just drop it in in place of your old speaker and it works like a charm.

Great aftermarket replacement, great price but doesn't get as loud as the original.

I got this just in case my original speaker isn't good anymore or break in the future. At the moment I'm still using my old one because it is noticeably louder than this one, not sure why, they look almost identical. I have my expectation in check though because the product page specifically says under Notes that "it may not perform in a manner identical to its genuine counterpart".

Great thing to get while it's around.

Speakers in general are usually always exposed to accidents from poured liquids and other situations of the sort, so having this as a backup is not a bad idea.
