Silicone Pads for Game Boy

These are a inexpensive welcome refresh for my gameboy. Great value and super easy install. Along with cleaning, these put game play back to just like new!

Used Silicone Pads to replace the old originals. Everything is working perfectly. Smooth motion and quiet.

I thought I messed something up after installing this. The down direction on my D-pad wasn't working. I opened up my Gameboy and saw that one of the conductive pads was missing. Just to make sure, I flipped it 180 degrees and reassembled everything. Sure enough, the up direction was no longer working. I put my original torn pad back in. It's not ideal, but at least I can move in all directions.

Products were exactly as described, they show the colors of the LED board I installed really nicely. Would recommend if you’re getting translucent buttons.

The silicone pads and other products I purchased to build a custom upgraded game boy from scratch are awesome! Highly recommend these guys.

I love the feeling of these pads apposed to the budget ones it is definitely worth the extra money.

I would not say it the greatest replacement. mine is slightly loose so I have to be careful if I press firmly. but still a good product

I was surprised how well these pads are made and feel once installed into my Gameboy. If I have to fix up another Gameboy in the future I will be buying these again.

Bought these for a recent remake of a gameboy DMG-101. purchased in white to match my aesthetic.

I found the membranes to be too "soft", especially with the directional pad membrane. I will often have multiple inputs at once now, making tight game play impossible. Usable for rpg's or slower games, but not for action or platform games. Nothing worse than crouching when trying to run straight ahead and leading to death.

I do not know if the other colors are like this, but the white ones were not very good.

With Retro Modding you know you’re getting perfect parts, these are as good as if not better than original parts

I bought a set of light blue pads and absolutely love them! They're a perfect fit for my current project and feel so good and clicky on my new mod!

You don't notice when good silicone pads are there, but bad ones stick out like a sore thumb. These are fine. They do the job they were made for and look nice when you have transparent buttons. Wish there were more color options, but for what they are, these are perfect.

These silicone pads worked just as well as the originals, if not better, and come in cool colors.
