  • Compatible with NES controllers, DMG and Play It Loud Game Boy units, and SNES controllers (see warning)

  • The D-pad is designed to fit in a NES controller and may feel a bit tight in the Game Boy
  • The Game Boy's D-pad will not fit in a SNES controller, but the A and B buttons will

These d-pad and buttons don't change color as advertised.

Hello, depending on the temperature where you are, the button could already be triggered. Also, please note that the D-Pad is pretty thick and needs more time to heat.

Fit and function perfectly

They work and function the gameboy perfectly my only complaint is they don’t change colors very well. I would buy them again.

Beautiful Buttons that shift colors as you play!

These buttons look great in Retro Modding's clear NES controller shells, and I love the color shift based on temperature. High quality molds as always. Wish more colors would come out!

I'm not sure how they change color

They are purple. I've never seen them as another color. Functionally, they are fine.

Thank you for this review. These buttons can be a little bit confusing. The color will change with temperature. To see the difference, you can try to put the buttons in the fridge for a couple minutes.
