The switch chosen for the GBA assembly is too small/weak and breaks easily.

[About the GBA version. GBC works perfectly]

This item failed after a few actuations, it appears that moving the switch the distance it must travel puts too much leverage on the switch mechanism. When it broke, it fell apart and the T shape switch lever is tiny compared to that from the original GBA switch. The GBC version of this is fantastic, but the GBA one is a poor replacement. I used a same-as-OEM switch eventually, it was so much beefier.
